The people who've had the pie can attest, even when it turns out brick-like, it is amazing. We actually just finished eating the meal itself (the pie needs to chill for a few hours) and it was all fantastic. We only really cook one day a year, so it's remarkable things turned out as well as they did.

And now, back to the traditional Turkey Day MST3K Marathon. Because some traditions never get old.

Oh you poor darlings! But you know, boiled water chocolate? Totally could pass as from-scratch hot chocolate. Don't argue.

Also, "peaks?" For some reason I heard that "peeps" the first time around...and I was like, CHOCOLATE PEEP CAKE. Yes. Excellent Thanksgiving fair. Was that the right "fair" to use? Oh, word fandom, you would be so ashamed of me right now...XD
