So I seem to have accidentally written a full five page essay about slash. I'm posting it here because I think it's interesting, I'd like other people's ideas about it, and so on. However, for those of you on my friendslist not involved in fandom or who don't know what I'm talking about: slash = fanfiction about gay men = my hobby. If you find that weird or the thought of in-depth (though not graphic) discussion of sexuality (both my own and others') makes you uncomfortable, you probably won't want to read it.
