So last night, second_batgirl, poisonivory, and I hit the Bowery Ballroom for Sloan. Rachel was supposed to accompany us, but her job screwed her over yet again (grrrr). It's the first time I've seen Sloan in a couple of years, actually (since the Action Pact tour - I was living in Ithaca, where they do not stop, during the A-Side Wins tour), and my third time overall. (Freshman year when Pretty Together came out being my first.)

So anyway, in conclusion, I love Sloan and also, squeeeeeeeee!!

So it turns out that even if you've got over a foot and probably fifty pounds on mild-mannered little me, you do not come between me and Sloan when they're playing Everything You've Done Wrong.

Lesson learned the hard way, asshole.

Full concert write up tomorrow. (For now, it's all I can do to stop squeaking "I love them!!!" every four seconds.)

So, I'm screencapping A-Sides Win (AKA, the Sloan video DVD, thank you, second_batgirl!), and they were so... so... so tiny! So! Tiny! Oh my god! Teeny tiny!

And now I'm watching some of the later videos, and remembering just how fucking much I love this band.
